my mom had surgery recently and once again all care taking duties have fallen into my lap.

The work was banned nationally in Australia during the war. We were told it was caused by the Catholic church (of course). In those days the WBTS had a radio station in Adelaide called 5KA (stood for kingdom announcements) and the story was that the Adelaide company was transmitting sectet messages to Russian submarines off the coast. This led to seizure of the Adelaide property.
Interestingly, later, 5KA was sold off and was a AM radio station for years after broadcasting mainstream stuff, it may even still be going under a new name i believe...
